When you arrive
Important information about when you arrive and our polices:

  • Insurance cards and ID must be presented at each visit
  • Demographic information must be verified at each visit
  • Co-pays are due at the time of your visit
  • If you have no insurance, we offer a discount on fees, payment is due at the time of visit
  • The patient is responsible for all balances after the insurance payment and contractual adjustments are applied
If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please dial 911. If an urgent situation arises during or after business hours regarding your orthopaedic condition, please contact us at 321-768-9914. After regular business hours our answering service will take your call and they will page our provider on call. The provider will return your call as quickly as possible.
Should a conflict arise that prevents you from keeping an appointment, please contact our office as soon as you are aware of the situation, preferably 24 hours in advance. We will make every effort to reschedule your appointment to a more convenient time. If you do not show up for a scheduled appointment and have not contacted us to cancel the appointment you may be charged a $40.00 cancellation fee.

Please have your pharmacy contact our office. We will be happy to refill prescriptions related to your orthopaedic treatment during the work week. However, we are unable to process requests that come over the weekend, so please allow enough time before close of business on Friday to process your refill requests.
Insurance Acceptance & Policies
Patients must have private medical insurance or agree and adhere to the self-pay policy to be scheduled. Our Financial Policy is detailed in the “Financial Responsibility Policy”.
Patients who have been injured in a motor vehicle accident, and are covered under Automobile PIP insurance, must also have Medical insurance that our practice accepts. Injury cases are accepted only after a case-by-case evaluation and approval. PIP cases are required to provide the following information:

  • Auto insurance case number
  • Claim Adjuster name and phone number
  • Accident report
  • Letter of exhaustion if PIP benefits have been exhausted
  • Medical insurance card
Patients covered under Worker’s Compensation insurance must contact their employer or Case Manager and request that they contact our office to schedule an appointment for the patient.

Third Party Insurance Policy
Our office does not accept patients who are involved in medical/legal issues under attorney representation.

Payment Information
  • Payment is due at the time of service. After the claim is billed, if there is a balance not covered by the insurance carrier that is contractually deemed the obligation of the patient, a billing statement will be sent to you.
  • Payment is due upon receipt of the billing statement.
  • We accept cash, check, Care Credit and most major credit cards. Please contact our billing department with any questions at 321-768-9914.

COVID-19 Information

At Atlantic Orthopaedic Group, there is no higher priority than ensuring our patients’ safety and peace of mind. We want to assure you that AOG is closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and has put procedures in place that follow the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines to ensure the safety of our patients, staff and providers.
Following CDC Guidelines
We are urging patients to follow CDC guidelines and to self-quarantine if they’ve traveled to a high-risk area in the last 14 days. If patients have traveled to a high risk area or have been in close contact with someone who has and they are experiencing a fever, sore throat, cough and/or loss of taste or smell, we are rescheduling their appointment. Facemasks are now optional in our office. If you would like our staff or providers to wear a facemask while serving you, please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate.
Enhanced Cleaning
We have enhanced or cleaning practices to include disinfecting waiting rooms and front desk areas continuously throughout the day. Patient Kiosk ipads are disinfected between each patient use and hand sanitizer is available at the front desk. Exam rooms, equipment and other direct patient care areas will be cleaned after each patient visit. Additionally, the facility, including the stairwell and elevator, is meticulously cleaned every evening.
Limiting Visitors
Only one guest will be allowed in the exam room with the patient during the visit.
Better Experience
We have eliminated the entrance of all non-essential vendors to the clinics.
Better Communication
We will communicate appointment-related updates through our patient portal and appointment reminder system.
